Are you interested in deepening your relationship with your inner self & this beautiful island? Chantal is offering "Natural Communication", a reflective experience this summer at the People's Apothecary Garden. Chantal's intention with providing this experience is to encourage gentle connections without selves and the lands we walk upon. I would love to hold space with you to explore the subtleties of ourselves in relation to the land. Using meditation, creativity & our senses we will explore different communication methods for practicing herbal medicine and self reflection.

ABOUT CHANTAL:
Chantal Solomon's ancestors began to arrive in “British Columbia” in 1925 via Eastern Turtle Island, Europe & Africa. She roamed many mountains, gardens & coastlines with a curiosity for the old ways of the land, which lead her to study special needs education, herbal medicine, visual arts and meditation. Chantal loves to collect plants & other random materials to create something new and share her findings with community. Her artwork has been exhibited at the Comox Valley Art Gallery, the Richmond Museum and the Courtenay District Museum & Archives. Chantal is a creative facilitator; she has worked with youth in various capacities including public & private schools k-12, summer camps, preschools & public events. Her facilitation philosophy has been inspired by Metis culture, DIY ethic, inquiry-based learning & Reggio Emilia. She is currently creating screen printed textiles & herbal medicines at the Ministry of Casual Living, Victoria, BC. Chantal's solo productions are shared via “Heart Seeds Creative” which offers a variety of nature-inspired products, community event collaborations & curriculum. @heartseedscreative
